Welcome to Hershey High School

Hershey High School was built in 1996 and expanded in 2007. The facility is 231,000 square feet, has auditorium seating for 1,300; two CAD labs; classrooms for family and consumer sciences; full gym, weight and cardio exercise rooms; full band and orchestra/chorus rooms; three art rooms; a production office and library/media center.

Extracurriculars and Athletics

Students have multiple opportunities to engage in rigorous learning across subject areas as well as participate in extra-curricular activities. By the time they enter high school, every student has the opportunity to be connected to at least one school activity be it athletics, clubs or music ensembles.

Student of the Month October 2024 - Joyce Tao and Sean Elliott

Congratulations to the October Rotary Students of the Month representing Hershey High School - Joyce Tao and Sean Elliott! This particular honor recognizes the outstanding contributions they have made at Hershey High School as well as in the community. The Hershey Rotary honored Joyce and Sean during the October 7th board meeting. The students presented their speeches of accomplishments in person at the meeting.

Hershey High School and Derry Township School District are proud to annouce Violet Foley, Benjamin Fredrickson, and Matthew Milunic has been selected as 2025 National Merit Scholarship  Semifinalists. Congratulations and good luck to these students as advice in the National Merit Scholarship competition. 

Tenth Grader McKinley Ebert Places 7th Nationally in the SIFMA Foundation’s Spring2024 National InvestWrite® Competition

Congratulations to McKinley Ebert for placing 1st in the state of PA and 7th in the ENTIRE nation in the 2024 Spring Investwrite Essay Contest! McKinley wrote an essay answering the prompt “Which investment in your Stock Market Game portfolio performed the best and why? Using this investment, recommend a diversified $25,000 portfolio of stocks, bonds, and/or mutual funds to save for a personal, family or community goal in the year 2030. Derry Township School District is proud to announce the distinguished and regular honor roll for the fourth marking period of the 2023-24 school year for Hershey High School and Hershey Middle School. Congratulations!

In the 69th National Merit Scholarship Program, three Hershey High School seniors received National Merit Scholarships! Congrats to all of our National Merit semi-finalists, finalists, and scholarship winners!

ACE Mentor of Central PA Program

Current Sophomores, Junior or Seniors, if you are interested in careers in the Architecture, Construction Management or Engineering fields, the ACE Mentor of Central PA program is accepting applications for the 2024-25 community program.
