Announcements

 GSA: The Hershey Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA) will hold its next meeting after school today in Mr. Fornataro’s room, E220, from 2:45 - 3:30PM.  Everyone is welcome!

WiSTEM: Hershey Women in STEM Club will be meeting today after school until 3:30PM in Mrs. Haney’s room, E219, to work on their bulletin board and to discuss speaker events for the rest of the year. New members are always welcome! Remind code: hhswistem5

Swatara Township Police Academy: Swatara Township Police Department hosts the 2025 Citizens Police Academy for individuals 16 years of age or older. Applications for the program are due by January 20, 2025.  If you are interested in this program or are someone that wants to explore a career in law enforcement, then please reach out to your School Counselor for more information.

Chemistry Olympiad: Anyone interested in participating in this year’s chemistry Olympiad, please plan to attend a brief informational meeting tomorrow at either 7:15AM or 2:35PM in Mrs. Haney’s room, E219. 

Library: On Friday, December 13th- we will be hosting a Taylor Swift birthday party in the library - we will have music, bracelet making, and a bake-your-own birthday cake competition.  Feel free to dress like a Swiftie.  Interested in performing live music over your lunch or study hall? Random Acts of Kindness Club: The RAK Club will meet on Wednesday after school in Mrs. Collins’ room, D106.  Stop by to hear about our Raktivities for December and how, you too, can become a Raktivist!  Everyone is welcome! 

Chess Club: The Chess Club will be meeting after school today in Room E216.  New members are always welcome!

HHS Key Club: Key Club is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, December 5th from 4:00-8:00PM, at the Hummelstown location. Anyone can participate by using the code FUND4U in the cafe or for online pickup. 25% of sales will go towards our club’s fundraising for the Walk for Clean Water!
 

 

HHS Theatre: It’s the most wonderful time of the year: musical auditions! Auditions for Mean Girls: High School Edition will be held December 9th & 10th, with callbacks being held December 11th. Audition packets are now available outside of Mrs. O’Brien’s room, E119. Applications are due no later than the end of the school day on December 6th. See you there! It’ll be fetch!

Announcements

ASVAB Interpretation: The ASVAB Interpretation will be tomorrow, Tuesday, December 3rd at 7:35AM in the LGI. Students will receive their ASVAB scores at the interpretation meeting. An announcement will be made on the day of the interpretation for students to proceed to the LGI. When you arrive at the LGI, please, check in with your assigned counselor to receive your scores.
