GSA: HHS’s GSA will host its 2nd-to-last meeting of the year after school tomorrow, Wednesday,
May 13th. We will reflect on our year as a community, discuss ideas and visions for next year, and
most importantly, plan our End-of-the-Year Party! Hope to see you there!

News from the Nurse: It is Springtime and pollen levels are high. If you are affected by seasonal
allergies, make sure you are taking your allergy medication daily before school. The nurse’s office
does not have allergy medication to administer to you.

Chess Club: The Chess Club will be meeting tomorrow after school in Room E216. New members
are always welcome!

Academic Decathlon: Academic Decathlon will meet after school on Wednesday in Mr. Dietz’s
room G146. Stop by to compete in a Macroeconomics Super Quiz Blitz!

Class Officer Elections: It is time to vote on our class officers for the upcoming school year.
Applications for class president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer are available outside of Dr.
Ives room, E121. If you are interested in running for class officer for next year, please pick up an
application today. Applications are due to Dr. Ives by the end of the day tomorrow.

Seniors: All seniors must complete the 2026 Graduation Survey on their Naviance homepage. Completion of this survey is the only way your counselor can send your final transcript to the post-secondary institution you have chosen to attend. Regardless of your post-secondary plans, all seniors must complete this survey before graduation.

Hacky sack Expectations: Hacky sack is not permitted indoors but may be played outside during lunch.

Classroom Assistant for 2026-27: If you are interested in becoming a Classroom Assistant for the 2026-27 school year, please complete the online application - https://forms.gle/f2bFj5xP2BQTFgNN9 A QR code for the application is posted on the bulletin board outside the counseling office. See Ms. V. Smith in the Library for details.

Student Council Contest: Attention artists and creatives: your HHS Student Council is offering you an opportunity to win a $50 gift card for creating a winning LOGO design to be used next year on Student Council sponsored activities and merch. Contest ends May 12th! Turn in submissions to Ms. Henning or Mrs. Balanda.

Skincare Awareness Club (SAC): We will be meeting at 2:45PM in the library TODAY! We will have food, make goodie bags for our crossing guards, and most importantly, you get a free skincare bag for going!

Track and Field: Congratulations to both the girls and boys track & field teams for winning this year's Keystone Conference Titles. This was the boys second straight year winning the conference with a combined record of 14-0. Great season everyone!!

Come to school wearing anything that celebrates your heritage—from traditional dress to cultural colors and pins - we want to see the clothing that tells your story. Make sure you're ready for our Homeroom photo session that morning. Let’s see that cultural pride!

Academic Decathlon: Academic Decathlon will meet after school on Wednesday this week. We’ll be recapping the results from the Online National Tournament, exploring the subject outlines for next year’s competition, and hosting an Economics Super Quiz Blitz! Think you know everything about supply and demand? Come test your knowledge!
