Course Selection Planning

In preparation for the 2026-2027 school year, Derry Township School District students currently in grades 8 through 11 will submit their course requests through StudentVUE.  Teachers will make course recommendations for your child in the system, review these recommendations with students, and lock in their recommendations. All requests made during the enrollment period will be given equal consideration.  

• Current 8th grade students will enter course requests at school on January 21^st & 22^nd 

• Current 9th & 10th grade students will enter course requests on January 23^rd & 26^th 

• Current 11th grade students will enter course requests on January 27^th & 28^th 

The Course Selection Parent/Guardian Night Presentation was held on January 7th at 6:30 pm via Zoom. Please reference the presentation on our website. 

Special Note:

• Parents are encouraged to review student selections in StudentVue. Verification sheets should be available in ParentVUE after February 7th.
• Students can only request courses that have been recommended by their teachers if the course requires a teacher recommendation or prerequisite.​
