Senior Scholarship Information (Class of 2026)

Update as of 2/27/26: This is an important message for all seniors applying for scholarships this year. Unfortunately, I received an email from Going Merry that they are shutting down their platform indefinitely.

All scholarship deadlines on Going Merry have been changed to March 4th at 11:59 pm to allow students to still submit any drafted applications they have. All submissions will be saved if they are completed by March 4th at 11:59 pm. If a student cannot complete their application, they can copy and paste their work into the updated scholarship link(s) below. All due dates reflected in the table below are correct.

James L. Fillmore Scholarship

This full tuition scholarship to the University of Cincinnati is intended to recognize a well-rounded Hershey High School senior who demonstrates a strong commitment to academics, extracurricular participation, and service to his/her community. Please reference the application for more specific details and requirements.

John & Carl Curry Accounting Scholarship

Seniors who have taken and excelled in accounting classes during high school

March 4

Joe Allegrini Community Hero Memorial Scholarship

Senior who played a fall, winter, or spring sport; cumulative GPA of 3.0+; pursuing a four-year college education; community service specific to Hershey.

March 6

Penn Live Best & Brightest

Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, service to school and community, an autobiographical essay and two letters of recommendation. Best and Brightest is an award and not a scholarship.

Ben & Tim Day Scholarship

Available to all Hershey High School seniors!

HHS Senior Scholarships

Any HHS senior can apply! Applying for this bulk scholarship application allows seniors to be eligible for over six different scholarship opportunities!

Hershey Area Education (HEA) Scholarship

Available to all Hershey High School seniors!

Sitka Athlete Scholarship

Must complete application and participate in one of the four listed Hershey High School sports: Football, Ice Hockey, or Field Hockey

Jessica Drew Sunshine Memorial Scholarship

Presented to student(s) planning to attend further post-secondary education, participates in extracurricular involvement in school or community. Seniors must respond to two essay prompts and submit resume.

March 18

Miles for Matt Scholarship This scholarship recognizes 2 Hershey High School seniors planning to attend either a trade school or a four-year college. Minimum GPA: 3.0. March 20

Cohortis Athletae Scholarship

This scholarship recognizes and celebrates students who have demonstrated excellence in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in athletics and the arts at a consecutive time (for example: marching band and soccer). The sport and music ensembles must be associated with Hershey High School.

HESPA Trade & Technical Scholarship

Graduating senior who plans to attend a trade or technical school in the fall.

Hershey Area Art Association Scholarship The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a graduating high school student living in Dauphin or Lebanon County wishing to further their art education majoring in Fine Arts, Art History, Art Education, or a Graphic Arts program at a college, university or art training institute. JSF Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship

HHS Student-Athlete (all sports are welcome)

April 1

Hershey Lions Club Scholarship This is a one-time scholarship of $1000.00 awarded to a graduating, high school senior who shows outstanding participation in community and volunteer service. April 6
Brownstone Masonic Lodge Scholarship One scholarship will be awarded for each of the following school districts: Derry Township, Lower Dauphin and Palmyra School Districts. Scholarship recipients may re-apply each year but receive no preference based on prior awards. April 15
